Why Cloneen Digital ?

Well, my parents' house in Portstewart, Co Derry N Ireland (not far from the Giant's Causeway) where I spent much of my early youth was called 'Cloneen'. In Gaelic, it translates as 'Small Meadow' which, I presume, describes the landscape before the town developed to its present size (pop.4000 )

Digital reflects my consuming interest in photography and computing applications that have come together in digital photography, and now extends to the development of web sites.


The aim of the website is to provide a forum for any area of photography; to that end it will include galleries of my own images, information on various photographic activities and advice and help for those new to photography and digital photography in particular.
